The McKesson team felt disorganized and inefficient using WASP barcode scanner, and made the switch to Notifii. See why.
Nell Murphy, Assistant Facilities Manager, at McKesson and her team struggled with efficiently and effectively logging packages in and out of their mailroom. The WASP Barcode Scanner system they were utilizing was “always problematic,” said Murphy, “we always had a lot of trouble with it” forcing her team to start manually noting down package information and manually alerting recipients of their package processing. This system bogged down the facilities team for nearly an hour or two hours each day. After weeks of inefficiencies, Murphy looked to McKessons’ other locations in the U.S. to see what options were available for her facility.
After polling other McKesson locations, Murphy found Notifii Track. Impressed by positive reviews of the software, they were able to kick off a free trial and jump right in. She stated that the ease of inputting information was the most attractive feature. “What I really like is that I can take a picture of the package so if someone comes in to look for a specific package, we can take a look at the photos and find exactly what they were looking for,” Murphy commented. She also noted that the email notifications of package deliveries became a huge hit amongst those working in the facility.
