Wisconsin Management Company
Black Friday was approaching last year and Wisconsin Management Company had to make sure they could keep up with the inevitable increase of packages.

Problem
Wisconsin Management Company specializes in property management of affordable and market-rate property rentals throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Last year before the holidays, Wisconsin Management Company identified a need to upgrade their package management system. With their pen and paper package logging system, their team was spending up to three hours a day logging, organizing, and searching for packages. Over time, this proved to be an inefficient and costly process, especially when considering the amount of labor hours it required. It was easy for the management company to dread the holiday season because of the large number of tenants and respective packages. Property Manager, Richard Martinez, knew that there had to be a way to improve operations and he came across Notifii Track in a simple google search. The robust system sparked his curiosity and he has been using the product ever since.

The Solution
Black Friday was approaching last year and WMC had to make sure they could keep up with the inevitable increase of packages. Martinez noted that this was the push they needed to get Notifii Track up and running. He was pleased with the simple start up and almost immediate implementation. He told us that it took less than half an hour to begin using the software.
WMC found the most value in the ability to log and take pictures of their tenants packages. They were able to take the guesswork out and let residents know if packages were crushed, damaged, or heavy. This in-depth communication led them to save time and increase accountability. Martinez stated, “It’s phenomenal, we have yet to lose a single package. Everything has been 100% accounted for, and that is something that no one else can say without a system like this.” WMS has also found the Notifii Smart TV display to be one of the most eye-catching pieces that tenants see when they walk through the doors to the office. Anyone can easily come in and look at the monitor to see that their packages are ready to be picked up.

Results
Wisconsin Management Company now has an efficient and cost effective process and have decreased their time to about 30 minutes a day logging packages, with tenant interaction being well under 20 seconds. The company is averaging 689 incoming packages each month. Martinez told us, “With the level of packages we were receiving before and what it is now, we definitely market to our tenants and on our apartment listing websites that we do now offer a package concierge service to our residents and to our prospective residents. It is a very alluring amenity that a lot of them are looking for.” Renters want to know that they can order a lot of items and that those items will arrive safely and will be handled with care. Current residents have been taking advantage of the service and are comfortable increasing their quantity of orders. In the COVID-19 era, it is great to have the convenience of not needing to leave the home and being sure that orders will be delivered to a safe and secure place. The tenants at WMC love ordering their Christmas gifts, and the mail carriers have warned them it could be a busy year. However, with Notifii Track, Martinez said, “I’m looking forward to the holidays this year, we won’t miss a thing.”
